Ocean air is hard on floors. Salt, sand, and moisture work into grout lines and open stone, and patios take the worst of it.
Dana Point homes sit closer to the water than almost anywhere in south Orange County, and the floors show it. Sand tracked in from the beach acts like sandpaper on polished marble and travertine. Salt air settles into unsealed grout and pavers, and over time you see dull patches, white efflorescence on patio stone, and grout that never looks clean no matter how often it gets mopped.
La Paz Floor Care has worked on coastal homes from our shop in San Clemente since 1971. In Dana Point we spend most of our time restoring polished stone that has lost its shine, deep cleaning and sealing grout, and cleaning and re-sealing the pavers, flagstone, and pool decks that get hit hardest by the marine layer.
We serve all of Dana Point, including Monarch Beach, Capistrano Beach, the Lantern District, Niguel Shores, and the homes above Dana Point Harbor.

Quartzite, marble, and granite counters get cleaned, polished to a deep shine, and sealed so coffee, wine, and citrus don't stain or etch.
Damp coastal air keeps grout lines dark. We extract the grime with high-pressure hot water, then seal so it stays clean longer.

Closer to the water, outdoor stone and pavers usually need re-sealing every one to two years. Interior stone typically goes longer. We check absorption on-site and tell you honestly if it isn't needed yet.
Usually, yes. That haze is typically efflorescence, mineral salts pulled to the surface by moisture. We clean it, treat it, and seal so it is less likely to come back.
Yes. We coordinate with HOA and gate access and bring our own water-recovery equipment so we don't leave runoff in shared areas.
We come to your home, test a small area so you can see the result, and give you a clear price. No pressure.
